Horizontal Coiling and Decoiling Systems provide consistent performance with reduced downtime for reel changes. Each layer of product holds 4-5 times the amount of a single reel. Our customers use palletized product for finished packaging, but also as an intermediate packaging step between different manufacturing processes. Horizontal coilers are used successfully with both delicate electrical terminals and rugged strip stock. Advanced tension and paper interleaf options are also available.
Turntable parameters can vary depending on the application. For coilers we have two sets of standard parameters. For lighter weight pallets, 1500 lbs and 52" diameter table, and for heavier weight pallets, 4500 lbs and 44" diameter table. If your process requires a customization, we will modify an existing design or create a new design, without the excessive cost usually associated with custom machines. |
